Finish Strong

The kids were begging to arrive home earlier than projected. I don't know if it is the close quarters, the constant presence of siblings and parents or just the desire to sleep in their own beds and see their friends.

I told them we were one day from home once we hit St. Louis and they all assumed we would be home tomorrow. But Big Daddy had other plans in store for them, like one more rendevous with Route 66. If you look on the map, Route 66 crosses Six Flags Blvd in Eurika, MO. The idea of another night of swimming was exciting to them, but to their surprise there was a little bonus planned.

Since the two day pass was only $10 more than the one day pass, we hit 6 Flags tonight and will be amongst those early patrons tomorrow.

The attached picture of Flat Stanley is mounted to a billboard pole for Taco Bell in Warrenton, MO. It was symbolic of a seemingly anticlimatic day.....but you never know with Big Daddy.

Peace to all...by the way anyone know where a good truck wash is located?
